Famed fashion figures, high society personalities and bloggers rubbed elbows while waiting for the doors to open for the Slim’s @ 50 show during Philippine Fashion Week. When the doors did open, there was some shoving and a bit of a stampede.
The heightened excitement and anticipation were not in vain as the designers wowed the crowed with dramatic pieces.
What started with the audience standing and waiting, ended in a standing ovation.
The nine designers who participated were all alumni of the famed fashion school started by Salvacion Lim Higgins, better known as Slims.
